Walk Two Moons
The book Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech identifies what it means to accept people for who
they are. Salamanca (Sal) being the main character in this book wants to find her mother. The
problem being she hasn't seen her mother in many months and has a long way to go to find her.
But first she tried to solve the problem by remembering all the good times she had. But this seems
to fail her mother being gone has left its mark.So Sal goes on a trip with her grandparents to see
her mom because they are going to see “the hole ding dong place” and they know she wants to
see her to. In the end she realized how important understanding life was really like.
