In the book Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone (pg 1-150) it shows a great theme of courage, in the book it showed albus dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall and Rubeus hagrid saying their goodbyes to the baby boy that was on the doorstep of 4 privet drive.
soon we meet Harry potter, a eleven year old slim kid that has been forced under the stairs and slept their for years. Soon after it was Dudley’s birthday and he got 36 presents and a trip to the zoo and as they were going Their neighbor, Mrs. Figg, calls and says she can't watch Harry for the day. It means that Harry's going to get to go with the Dursleys on this birthday outing, instead of being left behind as he usually is. Although Dudley pretends to cry in the hope of keeping Harry from joining them on their trip to the zoo, the Dursleys are worried about leaving Harry alone in the house. He gets to go with them and Dudley's friend's family to the zoo.Mr. Dursley warns Harry not to do anything suspicious at the zoo, and Harry promises he won't. Everything was fine until they got to the reptile exhibit were Dudley thought the biggest snake was boring and after Dudley leaves Harry apologizes to the snake and it replies to him, it also says it's from brazil and that ended when Dudley rams Harry because the snake was moving and when Harry sees Dudley he's falling through the glass and the snake is escaping and thanking Harry for freeing him. Then the glass reappeared, and i’ll leave it at that. One day when he was getting the mail he saw that he got that he got a letter with an interesting crest on the back, he hid the letter behind his back as he gave the mail to the dursleys but Dudley (though retarded) saw that Harry was hiding the letter behind his back and snached it. Now vernon was mad when he saw the crest on Harry's letter and ripped it in half on contact. Then the next day three letters then 12 than 24, and then on sunday letters flying everywhere from everywhere. Now at this point vernon was fuming and ordered everyone to pack and that they were moving, moving to and old abandoned castle thing. And after that they hear a banging on the door. Now vernon had a gun aimed at the door bang bang and the door comes crashing down and a guy the size of a troll is standing at the door, vernon confronts him but he breaks the gun like a twizzler. And gives the letter and a cake to Harry. Harry puts the cake down and asks more and Rubeus tells all, then booms gives Dudley a pig tail and runs out of their with Harry. After that night Harry ashures himself it's a dream until he sees hagrid in the room with him and they go to get his supplies Harry wondering how they would get wands and stuff, but Rubeus knows his stuff and shows Harry diagon alley were he got his things his wand and his owl hedwig. This was their journey to platform 9 ¾ were hagrid gives him his ticket and vanished when he asked anybody were platform 9 ¾ isd they looked at him like he was insane until he found the weasleys which helped him get to the platform 9 ¾ and when he boarded the train were he met draco and hermione . This is where the sorting hat comes in were it considered putting Harry in slytherin but got put in gryffindor This was the class with the dreadid teacher Severus snape, Severus hated Harry at first glance and practical ron the only good thing was that hagrid invited them for tea which they attended, but it seemed like Rubeus was hiding something
